Students are assessed by completing the “School Skills/Career Skills” activity sheet and demonstrating their understanding of these skills as useful in multiple situations
Extension
This activity can be used in conjunction with the Career Research activity. Once students understand through their research what particular skills are needed for their chosen career, they can more directly relate which school skills apply to their future plans. Consider having guest speakers who can talk to students about how what they learned in school has transferred to their own careers.
