Distribute “Personal Inventory” activity sheet and make
available to the students the result of their interest, achievement, and ability
tests along with their grades.

Technology Connection
Assessment
Students will be assessed as they complete the “Personal
Inventory” activity sheet, discuss their results, and identify a possible
tentative career goal that matches the synthesis of all the information they
have about themselves.
Extension
This activity can be used in preparation for the Planning Your
Education activity. Repeat this activity in grade 12.
Remediation
Students having difficulty with organizing their results and
correlating them to career matches can discuss personalities and career
characteristics. This will help define suitable matches.
Accommodation
Modification
For students with significant disabilities, what changes can
be made in instruction and teaching delivery to allow students to participate in
classroom instruction while working on IEP objectives and off grade level QCC
standards. Below are suggested modifications correlated to the procedures of
this lesson plan.
