B. Educational and Occupational Exploration
Review with students their role of worker at school. Have students
identify other workers in the school (e.g., food service, janitors,
teachers, parent volunteers). Discuss work settings in the school. Discuss
the roles of these workers and how cooperation is needed to accomplish
tasks. Have students select an area of work discussed and make a drawing
of this setting.
Students' participation in the activity will be
evaluated.
For students with significant disabilities, what changes can
be made in instruction and teaching delivery to allow students to participate in
classroom instruction while working on IEP objectives and off grade level QCC
standards. Below are suggested modifications correlated to the procedures of
this lesson plan.
