B. Educational and Occupational Exploration
Ask students to draw pictures of what they might like to be
when they grow up. Have them show their drawing to the class and ask the class
members to guess what the student wants to be. After each one has been
correctly guessed, ask: a. “Why would you like to be this?” b. “What
things in school will help you to be this?"
Students' participation in the activity will be
evaluated.
For students with significant disabilities, what changes can
be made in instruction and teaching delivery to allow students to participate in
classroom instruction while working on IEP objectives and off grade level QCC
standards. Below are suggested modifications correlated to the procedures of
this lesson plan.
