A. Self Knowledge
Give each student an “I” worksheet. Have students divide the “I” into
six parts with a crayon. Have students draw pictures of all the things
they have learned to do alone in each part of the “I” worksheet. The
students will identify feelings associated with their “I” abilities (e.g.,
“I feel smart when I count numbers.” “I feel helpful when I make my own
cereal.”)
Students' participation in the activity will be
evaluated.
For students with significant disabilities, what changes can
be made in instruction and teaching delivery to allow students to participate in
classroom instruction while working on IEP objectives and off grade level QCC
standards. Below are suggested modifications correlated to the procedures of
this lesson plan.
