Career Activity: Exploring Careers
Objective: Helping students identify careers at their school

Teacher Preparation

  1. Print a Careers in Schools Worksheet for each student.

Materials

  1. Careers in Schools Worksheets
  2. Pen or pencil for each student

Activity

  1. Explain that the purpose of this activity is to explore the different careers at your school. Ask the students to think about the people working at the school.
  2. Give each student a Careers in Schools Worksheet and a pencil.
  3. Ask the students to write their name on the top of the Worksheet.
  4. To play the game, instruct students to write the name of a person at the school that works in the career listed in the left column.

Evaluation

  1. When the students have completed the activity, read the list of careers and discuss their answers. Ask the students if they would like to work in that career.
